“Compositrices au long cours”

In partnership with the National Maritime Museum of Toulon, “Compositrices au long cours” was a special concert day to honour female composer through the ages. Several pieces of music were played throughout the day and I was asked by the music conservatory of Toulon to record and mix particular pieces. Read More

The recordings are from the performance for piano for four hands by Jade Scatena and Alan Castellino, playing three compositions of Mel Bonis and the six pieces of Summer Dreams, Op.47 (Amy Beach, 1901). All of this was recorded with two Oktava MK-012 microphones and an AKG C214 and then mixed on Reaper.
